There will be an extensive range of tours departing from the resort daily. Not too far from the hotel is Anton Valley, with its Canopy Adventure, crafts market and the diminutive golden frog, unique to the region. El Valle offers great activities for eco-tourists like river rafting or rappelling. Panama City draws visitors with the Panama Canal, history old city and world class shopping.

The indigenous Embera tribe welcomes foreigners to visit their community in Cagres National Park, as does the Kuna tribe in the enchanting San Blas Archipelago.  Or take a scenic train journey on the historic Canal Railway to the city of Colon and the Free Trade Zone or experience one of the wonders of the world by making a partial transit of the Panama Canal.

Panama, while similar to Costa Rica in some respects, presents a more urban twist to the tropics. Our group will be staying at the All-Inclusive beach resort of Royal Decameron at the Costa Blanca, which is about two hours west of Panama City. Yes, that does mean “everything”, including all meals, snacks, domestic and international alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, organized daily activities, non-motorized water sports (windsurfing, kayaking, paddleboats, snorkeling & sailing), nightly entertainment for both children and adults, 7-nights lodging, airfare from Austin, airport transfers to/from Panama City Airport and a whole lot of fun in the sun!
