One of Austin Skiers Favorite Mountains!  We are excited to return to the most popular destination of last season and one of the most convenient ski-in/ski-out locations.  The four mountains of Aspen/Snowmass comprise one of the best-known ski resorts in the world. Snowmass is the largest of the four with over 3,000 acres of ski-able terrain - 70% of it’s terrain for intermediates. You will never get bored here.  Aspen Mountain and Aspen Highlands are advanced heaven, both with over 3,200 vertical feet spread out among 700 challenging acres each. Buttermilk caters primarily to beginner and low-intermediate skiers. All of these mountains are connected by a free shuttle service.

Austin Skiers enjoyed exquisite weather last year, with only one ultra-cold day.  The recently-installed lifts provide a very convenient ski experience in Snowmass, with very little poling required.  All of the lifts have built-in maps to review while you ride, too.  The selection and quality of restaurants is hard to beat as well: authentic French Onion soup and crepes with whatever pleases you inside.  Entertainment options abound, both in Snowmass and in Aspen.  If you don’t feel like taking to the shuttle into the chic Aspen, you have more than enough options to dine and consume in Snowmass.

Ski-In/Ski-Out Accommodations! We’re staying in the 2-bedroom/2-bath condos at the Top of the Village, our favorite property at Snowmass.  The service at this property is world-class.  The Top of the Village condos are surrounded on three sides by forests and mountains. It reigns as one of the very finest in ski-in/ski-out properties in Snowmass. The condos have a washer & dryer in each unit and the elevators give your tired legs a break when you come home from a full day of skiing. 

Transportation: You will have an early morning departure from Austin and then bus from Denver, arriving at our condos in mid afternoon.  With a stop for lunch and videos to entertain you, the time will pass quickly.  If you wish to arrange your own air into Aspen, the Top of the Village will pick you up at the airport.
