with us in snowy Winter Park!
The
club’s first trip of the season will launch with the
Texas
Ski Council at Winter Park,
Colorado.
This is one of the better opportunities for younger skiers, with
discounted lessons and a higher proportion of kids than on other trips.

Austin Skiers will be staying at the slope-side Zephyr Mountain
Lodge condos,
the only ski-in/ski-out
accommodation in
Winter Park.
It boasts four outdoor hot tubs, FREE high-speed dataport
capabilities in every room, a state-of-the-art fitness room, and secure,
heated underground parking.
Winter Park Resort is an “Authentic Colorado” experience with friendly
people, 30 + feet of snowfall annually, and 300 + days of bluebird skies
a year. The past four years
have been filled with improvements including new chairlifts, restaurant
renovations, a five acre addition dedicated to beginners,
three new
terrain parks, and enhanced terrain including tree-skiing and new
trails. This season the
list of improvements continues with the addition of the Panoramic
Express, North America’s highest high-speed six-person chairlift
offering faster access to over 1,123 acres in Vasquez Cirque, Parsenn
Bowl,
and
Eagle Wind, plus 100 acres of enhanced terrain w ith two new intermediate
trails. For special
occasions such as Thanksgiving, the Zephyr Express chairlift is modified
to accommodate 20 gondola cabins for dinner service to The Lodge at
Sunspot atop Winter Park Mountain.

Total
ski-able acreage is 3,078 acres which includes 142 designated trails and
1,212 acres of off-piste terrain.
With more than 30 restaurants,
Winter Park
has an exceptional variety of dining establishments. For a r omantic
tête-à-tête, try dinner at a renovated ranch house and stage stop. Take
the family out for pizza or take Chinese back to your lodge. Enjoy a
great Mexican meal or treat yourself to a mouth watering charbroiled
steak.
Transportation: You will have a Tuesday evening departure from
Austin
and then bus from Denver
– with the obligatory stop at Apple Jack Wine and Spirits to stock up on food and
beverages - arriving at our condos that evening.
