An Austin Skiers' Favorite

ski in/ski out Lodging!!

We are excited once again to return to our most popular destination and one of the most convenient slope side lodging properties. According to the readers of Skimag.com in 2021 they reported Snowmass ranked in the top tier of ski resorts across Western North America at 5th. Even though it fell from it's #1 perch the two previous years it still provides incredible options for all levels of skill. Besides it has amazing dining, entertainment and of course  Après ski.   In essence the variety that exists between the four mountains in diverse terrain & ultimately the experience is unsurpassed!

The Skiing:

The four mountains of Aspen/Snowmass comprise one of the best-known ski resorts in the world. Snowmass is the largest of the four with 3,332 acres of skiable terrain - so much variety – cruisers, steeps, glades, off-piste, terrain parks, super pipe and the longest lift-served vertical rise in the US. It has a base elevation of 8,104' rising to 12,510'.  The Sheer Bliss high speed quad lift provides

a very convenient ride to the top of Snowmass. Most of the lifts have built-in maps to review while you ride, too.  Rising out of the heart of downtown Aspen and famous for its steeps, bumps and incredible views, Aspen Mountain ("Ajax) and its double-black and tree runs are fun for skiers and snowboarders alike.

Known as the locals’ favorite mountain, Aspen Highlands features extreme terrain, groomed cruisers and breathtaking views. For the ultimate ski or snowboarding experience, hike up and drop into Highland Bowl. Buttermilk also remains North America’s best family learning center. While experts frolic in the 22 foot Olympic sized half pipe and terrain park, the rest of us can cruise on the wide, rolling trails. All of these mountains are connected by a free shuttle service.

The Towns:

Take the free, 20 minute shuttle to chic Aspen to enjoy the hard to beat selection and quality of shops and restaurants.  Entertainment options abound, both in Snowmass and in Aspen.  While Snowmass is smaller, it has 25 bars and in Snowmass Village. Check out the activities, "things to do" and all the restaurants for Aspen/Snowmass.

Slopeside and Ski-In/Ski-Out Accommodations!

One of your lodging choices is Top of the Village with 2BR/2BA condos with two guests/room and 3BR/3BA condos with two guests/room.. The Top of the Village is surrounded on three sides by forests and mountains and reigns as one of the very finest ski-in/ski-out properties in Snowmass. Just a short walk out your door to the slopes, in some units you can literally ski right to your back door.  The condos have a washer & dryer in each unit and the elevators give your tired legs a break when you come home from a full day of skiing.   You’ll also be only a 13 minute walk to Snowmass Village shopping, restaurants and activities.

This year you will also have a choice of the slope side Stonebridge Inn Hotel,   a short walk out the back of the Hotel to the slopes.  You’ll also be only a 5 min walk to Snowmass Village shopping, restaurants and activities.

Transportation:
You will have a morning flight from Austin and then bus from Denver, arriving at our condos mid- afternoon.  We'll make a stop for groceries and refreshments. The condos have their own free on-demand shuttle to take you to the Village restaurants, bars and the market.  The Snowmass Village shuttle is also free and the buses to Aspen, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk are free too.
