Skiing
BRECK the Resort offers five main peaks that are all interconnected by chair lifts. Peak 9 is the home of the primary Base Camp, with several Apres Ski locations in close proximity. A few years ago the Resort added Peak 6 providing skiers over 540 additional acres, which was one of the most notable expansions in Western resorts during the last decade! This expansion provides more above the tree line terrain for Intermediate and Expert skiers and boarders.
Mountain Statistics
BRECK has a Base Elevation of 9,600 feet and rises to a Summit Elevation of 12,998 feet for almost 4,000 feet of vertical rise. With over 2,893 Acres of skiable terrain, Austin Skiers can pick from 187 trails!
Beginners have 11% of Trails, Intermediates 31% and Experts 58% of skiable terrain… Soooo much to choose from you may never have to ski the same trail twice.
The Town
BRECK is a unique Victorian Ski town that combines skiing with the storied History of the West. When gold was discovered along the Blue River in the 1800’s, miners flocked to Breckenridge seeking their fortune. The legacy of mining history leaves a rich Victorian heritage to explore long Main Street, Park Avenue and Ridge Street among the over 200 restaurants, pubs & bars, retail shops, art galleries and live entertainment venues. Taking a day off? Visit the “World’s Highest Distillery” to take in the restaurant, tours or tastings of the award winning bourbons, gin, rum or infused vodkas on the menu.
Lodging
Relax after a day on the slopes at our 2 bedroom, 2 bath Condominium accommodations at Beaver Run Resort. Near the bottom of the Beaver Run Super Chair, Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center is a short walk to town and near the complimentary Shuttle routes around town. We will occupy nine condos in buildings One through Three and meet up for ski groups, dinner outings and happy hours.

Join us without the 0-dark 30 wake up call and car pool to Austin-Bergstrom for a leisurely outbound flight and arrive in BRECK in time for Happy Hour!
